PARENT'S GUIDELINES
- Check the haircut, uniform, nails, school shoes, school ID, Almanac(school diary) and punctuality of your ward in the morning.
- Bring your ward to the school gate and wait for him/her to enter the school. Also, collect your ward from the school gate.
- See that your ward carries book/exercise books according to the time table for that day. No extra books are needed.
- Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.
- Restrict daily pocket money between 5/- and 10/- per day. Excessive spending should be discouraged.
- Children should not bring the things other than those related to the studies.
- During School hours no student will be allowed to go home without the written permission of the Guardian for the safety.
- Your ward should be instructed to be careful about his/her things. There should be a name tag on blazers and sweaters. Expensive articles like phones, smart watches, Calculators etc. should not be brought to school. They are also not allowed to wear jewellery in school. In case of violation of this rule the articles will be confiscated and will be returned to the parents only. The school bears no responsibility for articles lost in school. In case of loss, a letter giving details of the loss may be sent to the class teacher. Articles found are to be handed over to the class teacher.
- If your ward is absent from school, he must make up all the work missed by him.
- Ensure that children do not carry fancy & expensive stationery items.
- All parents are requested to impart health Education to their children so that they –
(b) Students should exercise regularly.
(c) Sleep for at least eight hours daily.
(d) Have a balanced diet, nutritionally rich in proteins and milk.
(e) Drink water which is either boiled or filtered. All students are advised to bring their own water bottles from home.
(f) Avoid Consumption of ice-creams, other milk products and eatables from road side vendors.
(g) De-worm your child every year. Advice to be taken from your family Physician.
(h) Get dental and eye check up done once in every year by a dental surgeon and eye surgeon.
(i) Parents should immunize their children as per doctor’s guidance.
